How Senseless Killings Can Be Stopped In Nigeria – Shehu Sani Reveals

Senator Shehu Sani has stated that fairness is the key to ending senseless killings going on in Nigeria. He made this known in reaction to a statement by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who said that President Buhari doesn’t have a theocratic agenda.

According to Shehu Sani, the killings going on in some states will only end if all religions are treated with fairness.

“It’s reassuring to hear from the VP that the President has no theocratic agenda. But what is of urgent importance now is for the FG & respective states to end the mindless killings in the name of religion or ethnicity. And the first step is fairness to people of all faiths.”

Weighing on issues bordering on Nigeria’s electoral process, kicked against the call for unity after other peoples’ mandates have been stolen

“To perpetuate injustice, to undermine the basic principles of democracy and subvert free elections and call for unity, sportsmanship, and statesmanship is to spray fragrances on a heap of feaces.”

He went on to warn that, ” for those whose trophy or plaque is caved out of the coffin of their victims, they will perpetually live in fear of their ghost”.
